When I came home that day, only one dog was there to greet me. Instant panic set in. After scouring the yard, I found the tiniest hole underneath part of our fence that she must have gotten through. She wasn’t wearing her collar, and I found out later that the company I registered her microchip through had gone bankrupt, so there was no way for someone to contact us if they had her.

My dad suggested posting to Facebook. I looked up some local lost pet groups and saw a post from PawBoost. I figured it couldn’t hurt to try, so I made an account and posted Wendy’s info and photo. Once complete, I saw it already had two comments after only being up for 3 minutes. I opened it, and the first comment (literally one minute after it had been posted) was from my local shelter with a photo of Wendy saying they had her!! I could not believe how fast it worked; we were SO relieved.

Picked her up right when they opened the next day. Later on that Facebook post, the neighbor who found her had also commented, saying she made her way into their yard. So not only did the shelter see that post, but my neighbor even found it! It wouldn’t have been possible to find her so quickly and have that peace of mind without finding PawBoost.

She was missing from about noon on Friday, found out the shelter had her through PawBoost’s Facebook post around 7:30 p.m. that night, and we were reunited by 8 AM the next morning. Less than 24 hours!”

View Found Pets in Chesapeake, VA

Dakota: Lost Dog Reunited in Nacogdoches, TX!

“We didn’t know how Dakota got out. When I got home, Dakota wasn’t there. I got on Facebook and posted that he was missing. People commented, and one lady said she saw him up the street. And about 30 minutes after that, another lady saw him running out of town.

We have a loop around our city. Dakota kept on traveling around the loop for weeks. I posted my name and phone number in many groups. I must have had over 200+ phone calls, texts, Facebook private messages, comments, and a bunch of shares. There were tons of sightings of Dakota.

About 5 weeks into his journey, I was called to come to where he was. As soon as I pulled up to him, he started walking off because he was scared. I called to him and he ran off. So I drove down the road and couldn’t find him. He didn’t recognize me. So I kept on following him. At one point, he tried to cross the road and he almost got hit by a truck. At that point, I backed off. I’d rather have him out using his survival skills and thinking clearly than getting hit because he was scared of me.

A couple of days later, I had to leave for my grandson’s graduation out of state. Dakota kept coming around the next couple of days. Then one day, my SIL was in the house, and Dakota used the doggie door to get in. And when Dakota came into the house and ran into my bedroom, my SIL closed the door. I came home 2 days later!! I was worried that when Dakota ran from me, he had gone feral and didn’t recognize me. But once I walked in the house, it all came back to him, and he’s been stuck like glue to me and remembers EVERYTHING!!!! I have my baby back!!!”

View Found Pets in Nacogdoches, TX

Found Dog Reunited in Coats, NC!

“The dog wandered onto the property where I am living. 6-pound, well-groomed, friendly, active, and loving Yorkshire Terrier.
