They are known to be escape artists and are quite skilled at pushing their way through any weakness they might find in an enclosure. They are also very good climbers and are extremely fast. Shelldon pushed through my son’s gate in his backyard and escaped into the greenbelt behind his house before he returned home from work.

He was shared through various social media platforms because of PawBoost. Neighbors all around my son’s house were sharing sightings of Shelldon once he was reported missing through PawBoost. Flyers produced through the PawBoost website were printed and distributed throughout the surrounding area. Someone saw him and recognized him as the missing tortoise. My contact information was shared on the website, and the person who found him was able to call me directly to come get him.

So many people were involved in the search for Shelldon because of the access to social media posts by PawBoost. Storms were expected soon, so I hurried to get food & leashes, and to keep them safe until their family could be found. Snapping pics along the way, I started uploading a profile immediately on PawBoost. I had reunited another pet with their owner after being apart for 1 year. This is a valid network with a solid track record of results. Immediately, I received advice and comments from others with great info.

These big Pyrenees dogs were lounging on sleeping bag pads with soft baby blankets. PawBoost was already in process, and potential fosters and rescues that could possibly take them if their family wasn’t found. On Saturday morning, I was able to call a number from their rabies tag info and find their names and their owner’s number. I prayed that there was a family waiting for these sweet babies to come home. Indeed, a family was missing them and waiting for their return.

PawBoost’s strong network of dog people and its ability to quickly reach a mass of people did just that. It took just 3 days to reunite them with their family. Thanks to PawBoost and friends, they were safe from harm and returned quickly to their home. Special thanks to the lovely lady at OKC Humane Association who took my call on Saturday morning and connected the dots to the dogs’ names and the contact number of their family.

Thankfully, Osso & Luna were returned after only a few days.”

View Found Pets in Okalahoma City, OK

Opal: Lost Cat Reunited in Windsor, CO!

“I believe one of the animals opened the screen door shortly after letting the dog out in the morning. The dog has been known to open the door before. Opal likely got out then, as she was always waiting for an opportunity to get outside without her leash.

PawBoost provided information that I did not have a the time. The people who commented saying to “wait until dark” and “they only go [x] many blocks” were very helpful and good knowledge to have. That information ended up being the reason Opal was found. I waited until sundown, when the birds calmed, and stood on a chair calling “OPAL!” and that is how I, and my neighbors, heard the meowing. Then we were able to locate where she was trapped and unable to get home on her own.

Collaboration with good neighbors is ultimately what allowed a very scared and trapped Opal to return home. A huge thank you to the neighbors and friends who came together to get Opal home safe. Thank you, thank you, thank you. When I realized the gate was open, she was gone, and I was unable to find her before running off into the woods. My wife and I just recently moved to a new home, so I knew Lulu would have some trouble finding her way back home, but our whole neighborhood rallied together to help find her. Even after the first day of her going missing, everyone was still asking if we had found her yet, and the town and county as a whole rallied behind us to help search for Lulu. It truly was amazing to see the community come together like that. Never seen anything like that before.

My wife and I were sharing pictures of Lulu as well as updates every day, at any time she was seen around town. We were grilling out every day, sometimes 3 times a day, and staying out late to almost 1 in the morning to give Lulu the scent to come home. We left dirty clothes outside and posted signs all over on every major street. Although we were grateful that we were receiving calls or messages that she was being seen, it was discouraging to still not have her home. We were worried that she’d be hit by a car or maybe even shot since we live out in the country… loss of sleep was an understatement.

Finally, on July 1st at around 7 PM, just when we were starting to lose hope and knew that the first firework display was about to go off later in town, we received a phone call from a gentleman saying that he had Lulu. My wife and I didn’t know what to think. We were absolutely elated to hear the words that we had been desperately wanting for the last 6 days. The most remarkable thing about this whole thing is that he was probably one of the only ones to not know about Lulu missing; luckily, she was still wearing her tags!!

This was all truly a Christmas miracle in July!

PawBoost helped to get the word out even further on social media that Lulu was missing. Without PawBoost, I doubt we would’ve been able to gain any of the leads we received. Trying to find a lost pet is like trying to find a needle in a haystack but PawBoost helped to bring her home.”

View Found Pets in Fuquay-Varina, NC

Theo: Lost Cat Reunited in High Point, NC!

“Theo got out on a Sunday afternoon as I was loading stuff into my car, I left the door cracked a tiny bit so I could open it with my foot as I did not have hands available.
