Cats don't usually go far from home. Put the cat's used litter box outside and some clothing that the cat likes to lay on and some food too. Post pictures of the cat around the area and on the Nextdoor app. Check with the neighbors to see if the cat might be in their garage or shed. Walk around the area calling the cat's name. Check the shelters, Craigslist and newspaper.

NextDoor app is your best chance as covers your area. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person (can’t stress enough - in person!!! You know your pet best plus shelter workers are busy and can’t keep up) every couple days. Follow your pets routine, as weird as it might sound, as this sometimes help. Create a scent station with items that have your smell, your cat’s smell. Bedding, clothing, cat tower, etc. and have someone check in and under everything with a flashlight. Cats don’t go far and freeze in a tight ball in very small areas when scared. But they stare which is where the flashlight comes in handy. Catches the glare of their eyes, especially at night.
