When I moved I was worried my two cats would get lost the vet said let the dogs play in back yard for awhile then let cats out sure as heck they left he said they would wander not to far away but would return to the dogs scents in less than a week four days later they were at back door amazing

Melanie Henry I've stopped suggesting that because others have stated that a litter box will attract feral cats from the neighborhood. And a piece of clothing or the cat's or dog's toy would work just as well, I think.
