Shared. Post the pup on Nextdoor right away. File a found report with the Hayward, Fremont and Dublin shelters asap. You can file online. Post fliers in the area where you found him and extend a bit from there in all directions. Not everyone checks online, so this is an important step. Check Pawboost and other lost and found pet websites, the pup could be reported missing on any of them. Go back on their postings a couple of weeks at least, to make sure. Ask for proof when anyone claims the pup. Pictures of the pup with family, veterinary records, etc. And leep a very close eye on the pup's behavior and reaction to the person. Good luck.
