💜🐱POSTCARD Delivery service: https://lostpetcards.com/ - this family owned company will send Lost Cat Postcard (with photo and info) to the closest 1000 residents from where kitty escaped - this is an extremely efficient way to make sure your neighbors are aware your cat is missing - and your contact info is readily available if they spot kitty. I've used this service 3 times so far and always happy I did: https://lostpetcards.com/ . It’s pricey but worth it. I paid for this mailing service for a cat already missing for weeks after getting lost the same day kitty was rehomed and I needed to spread the word to neighbors as quickly as possible as I came onto the case late - weeks after kitty was already missing. Someone spotted her after a week, because he received a postcard!. We received several calls …some were false sightings so it’s important to include on the postcard “Please take a photo and call if you THINK you see my cat..(Please do not approach kitty - call me!) The other 2 times I used the service I received sightings within 2 weeks, one kitty was found within the block (and I’d already flyered door to door on the block) The way it works is you submit a form online https://lostpetcards.com/ then they will email you asking to confirm informatino, then they will send you a draft postcard and show you the zone that USPS will cover based on original location (they’ll show you on a map) 2 days later POSTCARDS will be delivered to the nearest 1000 neighbors, including apts and businesses (1000 is the minimum) at the cost is $650 – be sure to include much of the same wording asking neighbors to check garages, sheds, crawl spaces, trees etc and offering a reward for a PHOTO of your kitty - similar wording to the FLYER TEMPLATES you can download below (www.happycatlady.com). 💜🐱🙏 LOST (FRIENDLY) CAT FLYER- TEMPLATE https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ohg8MW56MKlrZbBsddIW75Vl6QICG93f/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=102845077284118854428&rtpof=true&sd=true LOST (SHY) CAT FLYER - TEMPLATE https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_2RMxuyBX96lj8ajAVs-1oNwLiXGtvlr/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=102845077284118854428&rtpof=true&sd=true

Chris Lanzatella I'm so sorry you haven't found Midnight YET. You will!! Is Midnight indoor/outdoor to the backyards? Alot of neighbors opened up windows and doors during those hots days - some cats have gotten trapped when folks later CLOSED those doors /windows at night ...if you haven't already done this...Print out a map of your block withe the address #s showing and knock on every door around your block today asking folks to check their laundry rooms, storage reas, crawl spaces, garages (sometimes there is access from the back) and sheds and ROOFTOPS TOO!..talking to neighbors helps to engage them to actively look for Midnight. Print flyers (or more flyers) asap today - Fedex is the cheapest and fastest... If Midnight is INDOOR ONLY - then he is HIDING or (or stuck) VERY NEAR ...It's still early and quiet since it's Sunday - go out and call for him with your normal voice and listen for faint meows...some cats will NOT meow if scared - they don't want to give up their position to potential predators...though some DO MEOW when stuck so keep calling... Happy to talk over the phone anytime for guidance 🐱💖💖💖💖 650-339-6619. BEWARE SCAMMERS will text you saying ' hi I have Midnight' or 'I have your cat' ASK FOR. A PHOTO and if they ask you to verify anything - and won't send you a photo of Midnight THEN YOU KNOW IT"S A SCAMMER - tell them to F off and they will stop texting you. I leave my number all over daily so I get 1 text like this every day.

Beautiful kitty! If she is an indoor only cat or outside her territory , she is hiding very nearby. Cats don’t run away when outside their territory (your house) they hide very close to their point of escape (the window). The good news is indoor cats are always found you just need to look everywhere! Look with a flashlight even during the day. Put out her litter box outside ASAP with food and water and bedding. . Look under bushes, decks, porches and cars with a flashlight even during the day . Look for anywhere she could hunker down and hide in or under. Put flyers on neighbors porches asking them to check their property throughly for anywhere she could be hiding in case she slipped out of your yard. Look inside sheds and garages too. Post on Nextdoor and file a lost report with with the shelter . Hope you find your kitty soon . Just don’t stop looking everywhere . Our daughters cat slipped out of the house and hid almost two weeks until we saw her on security cameras. We finally set a humane cat trap near her litter box and caught her within a few hours. So leave the porch light on and put out some tuna or smelly cat food where you can monitor from a distance. If she continues to hide set the trap in the early morning hours picking up all outside food. Do not leave food out at night. You will find her, just don’t stop looking. Hope you find her soon.

If she is an indoor outdoor kitty put flyers on neighbors porches asking them to check their property throughly. She is more than likely trapped somewhere nearby. Look in garages, sheds, bats, crawl spaces, storm drains. Look on roofs and up in trees too. Post on Nextdoor and file a lost report with the shelter. File a lost report with the microchip company too and make sure contact info is current. If she is ill or injured , she will hide like an indoor only cat. So look with a flashlight even during the day under bushes, cars, porches and decks. Cats don’t run away. So when it is quiet walk the street, shake her treats and listen closely with a flashlight for anywhere she could be trapped inside and unable to return home! Hope you find her soon.
