I saw a cat that looked like this one. I heard him in the woods behind my house meowing yesterday. I called and called for him but did not see him. My neighbor also heard a cat meowing in the woods 4th of July. I truly think he is watching me from the woods calling out “Here Kitty”. The reason I say that was today I was sitting on my screened in porch with my husband and cat and I looked up and this cat was in our back yard looking around our pool deck straight at me. When I looked at him I could see how interested he was in reaching out to me. He meowed but it was like a frustrated meow. I recognized that meow and knew it was the same cat that had been meowing in the woods. I got up and was able to look at him long enough to see that he had a collar on. Unfortunately, my cat who was on our screened in porch also noticed the cat so the cat took off. I went outside and called for the cat for a while but he would not come to me.
