Jessica Leah Kingsborough thank you for helping this sweet kitty. It sounds like a lost kitty - so please take it to a 24 hour Veterinary clinic. They will check him for a micro chip and keep him until Animal Services can pick him up. Please call animal rescues and let them know you've taken him to a veterinarian. His family is probably calling around looking for him. Thanks again for being so kind and caring.
