MESSAGE FROM OWNER
I found Amadeo as a feral cat and quickly became attached to him. I convinced him to trust me and eventually to come indoors because it was so cold, he was skinny, and he was constantly getting beat up by other feral cats and wouldn’t defend himself- he has a very gentle soul. It took some work but we got to the point where he would wait for me to get from work and run to my car/me. (He was very scared of anyone else and would bolt if he saw a neighbor— it was just me he trusted/liked.) I searched for an owner for weeks, but no one claimed him. So I took him to the vet to check for a chip (intent on keeping him if he didn’t and neutering and vaccinating him) and he did not have one. On the way out of the appointment, he slipped out of the crate. I had checked and double checked it was locked, I felt so stupid and such instant regret. I KNOW it had been locked but it had turned out to not be secure enough. I cried the whole night and day and still do thinking about him… I immediately looked for him for hours (with help of others), no luck. I go back to the vet almost every day to look for him and immediately told them what happened, so they are keeping an eye open for him too. I have never lost a pet before and I miss him very very much. Please contact me ASAP any time of day or night if you’ve seen him and I will be there.
DESCRIPTION
Small orange tabby tomcat with sleek short coat, small primordial pouch. Orange eyes! I know this sounds weird but he has a big forehead and little face with pointed ears. No white spots.
