MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Please help us find our beloved cat who has been missing for a month. She has been spotted a few times in another neighborhood, some distance from her , but she is too spooked and wary for anyone to get close to her.. We believe she is unable to find her way on her own. She is an older cat with hyperthyroidism so she needs to come as soon as possible. We need the community's help locating her as she is most likely hiding in someone's backyard or looking for food from other cat owners who may leave food out for feral or stray cats in the neighborhood. She is attracted to other cats, and is normally very friendly but is wary now of people after being on her own for so long. If you see her please contact us, we are heartbroken that we have not been able to bring her yet but are hoping that if she is seen by someone they can leave food out for her so she will continue coming back and we can then trap her. Thank you for keeping an eye out for her

Cats are territorial and d so Gould be able to smell their way home, keep familiar scents out like dirty laundry and only litter if not in coyote area. Put fliers on nearby neighbors porches asking them to please check their property throughly for anywhere your kitty could be trapped inside. Look in sheds, garages, bats and up in trees and even on roofs. Look in storm drains too! If he is ill or injured he will hide like an indoor only kitty. So look with a flashlight under bushes, decks, porches and cars. Keep checking shelters and posting flyers at nearby vet offices too. If he is spotted somewhere and unable to return home you can always set a humane to catch him quickly. I hope you find your pretty kitty soon.
