I saw this posting on Nextdoor where a black cat with a blue collar is showing up at a house in Annandale. Sometimes cats get transported far away by accidentally getting on a delivery or a landscaping truck. I help people find lost cats when I have time, and this definitely happens. In fact, when an outdoor cat doesn't come home, it's usually displaced -- got chased out of its home territory or transported -- and it can't figure out how to get back. Also look out your door often especially nighttime and especially dawn when kitty may appear before hiding again. Post on all nearby community Facebook pages such as Nextdoor Facebook page etc. Place posters on all nearby streets and check daily with all nearby shelters. 🙏
