Hello, saw your post on PawBoost. I hope Sam Sam finds his way home soon. I understand the pain of losing a kitty (who eventually found his way home) and I wanted to pass on some tips about maybe finding your kitty. If you haven't already, put flyers in many neighbors mailboxes and take to local vets. Look inside, under and around EVERYWHERE - get on hands and knees and look under low structures. Do not think they would not go there. Check anyway - only takes a few seconds. If scared, cats can hide in places you would never think. Walk around, stop in a location, call their name and then wait 15 seconds to see if you hear an answer. Also, check outside under all bushes, low decks crawl spaces and sheds inside and out. Ask neighbors if okay to check around their property and inside shed(s). Check any culverts under driveways if there are any and look up. If was chased up a tree, may not be sure or able to get down especially if declawed in the front. Declawed cats can go up a tree but require front claws to come down. Also, due to heat, place fresh water outside daily. I do hope that you find Sam Sam, or he finds you, very soon.
