Put his blanket/ bedding or your dirty laundry out for scent to help get back home. Go outside at night time and shine a flash light and see if you see any bright lit up eyes staring back at you. Notify animal control. Ask your neighbors to be on the lookout. Most importantly, make big bright neon weatherproof signs and hang them all over with his photo and your contact info. You can also put an ad in the lost and found pet section of the newspaper (it's free to do) Shared

Do this ASAP.. Put out items with your scent on it, like an item of dirty clothing, towel, blanket, sneakers. Put vacuum dust outside since It contains home scents in it. Leave out a bowl of water. If possible leave a Window/door/garage cracked open with smelly food inside (sardines in oil/tuna. DO NOT put litter box out it will attract predators. If indoor cat only will be hiding in fear very close by either in you yard or neighbors. Call as may times as possible, but night time is best Because its quite. Ask neighbors to check garages, sheds and under decks and their security camera recordings in the mid morning hours since cats are more likely to come out when it's quiet during the night. Put up 11x17 poster in neighborhood. Use a flashlight at night because you will see the reflection of their eyes. Shake treat bag as often as you can. Post on Nextdoor Neighborhood app and your local town community page.. shared
