Joseph Coon that's probably eyelid agenesis, then. I rescued a kitten with that some years ago, the ophthalmologist said she was missing 75% of her eyelids, so they couldn't be repaired. I hope your kitty comes home soon ❤️

Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest i dont believe so, i think that when we got her, the vet said that she was born missing one of her eyelids on her right eye, i can send you a photo that shows it better

Joseph Coon thank you for having him neutered and microchipped ❤️ Be sure to contact the chip company and tell them that he's missing. Make sure your contact info is up-to-date on their website. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Give flyers to every vet clinic, shelter, and rescue in the area in case he turns up. Ask them all about any local TNR groups and community cat feeders, and give them flyers too, if applicable. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Look up in trees in case he was chased. Go out in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. Put his beds/blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porch(es) and around the perimeter of your yard. When he comes home, please consider building or buying a catio (some people get pre-made chicken coops and "attach" them to their houses with kitty access through a window); or if your yard is fenced in, putting up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top.
