MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Dear animal lover community and fellow rescue partners, Please help me and my family (humans & pets) find our itty bitty special kitty. Penelope was rescued from death at 5 wks old, along with her brother Mr. Pebody, and later her mommy Hope and other brother Evan. At our home, I am currently fostering her mom and 4 other rescue cats. Since last seeing her on Monday, 3/4/19 at 7:45pm, I have had sleepless nights. Penelope is missed so very much. We have been looking for her day and night with no luck. I am in such great fear she won't know how to get home and something will happen to her. I am reaching out in the hopes that someone might have seen her or is caring for her. I can only pray this posts is shared and someone has the compassion to take her in, if found. As I am always helping anyone/animals in a time of need, I am finding myself on the other end; and it truly is a horrible feeling. Please keep an eye for this beautiful girl. *REWARD IF FOUND* Penelope is very small, has no tail (just a nub with a little ball of fur), missing a patch of fur on her left side near the rear, weighs about 5-7 pounds, can not jump, and some health issues. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

DESCRIPTION

Special Needs Young Female, Brown Tabby with White on her Chest & Legs, NO TAIL, Big Amber/Gold Eyes, Pink Nose & Paw Pads, Very Small/Dwarf, Spayed & Shots Up to Date. Please do not chase her, as she is a little skittish. Please take a picture and identify if she has a tail.

I love your story and you gave a lot hope to this family. The world needs more people like you Sue. I know the feeling to lost a little one. Couple months ago somebody that was working in my house lost my little dog, but luckily I found her. All sweet words fill up our heart with hope. Have a great day!

Several years ago, my blind kitty got out. We had a creek in back which overflowed into our yard from rain. I took my daughter to school as well as her friend who lived 4 blocks away across 3 streets. On the 3rd day, in the evening, Kelly’s friend brought my kitty home. She said my kitty was on her neighbors porch, crying to come in. The friend immediately recognized her and brought her home. A blind kitty, traveled 4 blocks, crossed 3 streets and was uninsured! Don’t give up. Your kitty may find it’s way home. Print up flyers and put them in mailboxes of every neighbor. Someone may be feeding Penelope and not even know she is missing. They may not be on Facebook. They may think she’s just a stray. If they find out she has a family, they will contact you. That, too, helped me find another kitty that got lost. My thoughts and love are with you.
