Please do not use dirty cat litter. This could bring aggressive ferel cats to the home and scare your cat away from your home. Everything else said was fine.

If you follow these steps you are sure to get your kitty....Please get a trail camera u can see what is going on when u r not around. I got mine at Walmart or s sporting goods for less than $30, put it by the trap. You could get A trap from A shelters near you. softly calling kitty name in a the am pm Every day. put some hair from your brush put the food in the back. sprinkle kitties Litter cats can smell up to 500 feet sprinkle a little left right back in front of your house. took me one month to get my cat back. Stay on top of it every day. prayers.. Also check local rescues and shelters sometimes they do trappings and could have your pet. Don’t forget trail camera because you can see what’s going on while you’re sleeping most cats are out at night. I helped a young girl get her kitty back after 6 weeks it works. Most of the time your cat is right by your house scared and hiding. And check with local shelters too. 🙏

Others say this will attract other predators that will chase away your cat or worse.

Put flyers all over your new area and your old area with your contact info and photo, give one to all the neighbors around the area and ask them to check their garage, shed and window well in case Hope got closed in or trapped. See if there is anyone in that area that feeds a feral colony and ask them to look out for Hope in case she joins them to eat. That is so sad, also report to Yonkers Shelter. Good luck.
