I hope this may encourage you to make him an indoor cat whether he likes it or not. Indoor cats do live longer.

Cats are usually found within a four or five how is radius. They may be hunkered down, hiding or travel somewhere. Ask your neighbors. Go outside at dusk or dawn, with a flashlight and look for your cats eyes reflection. Shake a container of treats to get his attention. Cats will not vocalize so you must search carefully.

Post on the app nextdoor.com. Make online reports with PACC and the Humane Society. Go to PACC in person every day to check. Put up flyers in the area. Make a scent trail by putting his bed and some of your old clothes and shoes outside.
