MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Description: My baby is a black and gray main coon cat. She is in heat. She has a little spiked collar. She's super friendly when she's in heat and may approach you, but when she isn't in heat she will probably just run away. I'm offering a $100 to anyone that finds her. She is a lot older than she looks. I've had her since I was in high school and I'm 28 now so you do the math. This cat is my baby. She is always coming and going through the back cat door and out my bedroom window, but she has never been gone this long. She went missing 2 days ago around sunset. She is ALWAYS before daylight. I usually freak out when I haven't seen her for a while, but I didn't hear any coyotes or anything so I'm praying to God she just got taken in by one of the neighbors. Another thing that was unusual around the time she went missing, the day before there was another cat in my . It was black and looked well kept, possibly someone else's pet. anyway, I don't know if that cat might have anything to do with Kiris disappearance but please if anyone even so much as sees her please call me right away even if it's the middle of the night i am desperate to find her please God let her be ok

IWhat to do if you lost your catmportant tips & links: For indoor cats, place it’s litter box outside, if you can’t do that, sprinkle their used cat litter around the outside of your home. Cats have scent glands on their paws, among other places, all that scratching in litter and on the side of the box, is not just to cover, it's also marking with their scent. I like the box close to a propped open door so you can watch and to give your kitty access to the home or garage. If you are concerned that in the area where you live is a high predator location (Coyotes, Bobcats…) please use something like clothing or bedding instead as there is the opinion that the used litter & food may draw predators or other cats, use common sense with this approach. Place shoes, clothing or bedding on a patio or slightly opened garage door along with food & water up on a table to keep insects & other critters out. Cats can smell their way home, while there is NO proof as to how far away, they need help in identifying which home is theirs. This tip has worked for many, there isn’t one quick fix of getting your kitty home, try all of these tips until the right one works! 📌One pet detective, “The Lost Cat Finder”, has said the #1 most effective search technique is “getting on your hands and knees with a flashlight”. Their eyes are reflected in flashlight. Look in and under everything, inside cats that get out are often paralyzed with fear or stuck somewhere. Look for them at dawn and dusk, shake a treat bag while looking. If they don’t know that sound, tap on a dish. Cats tend to hunker down and hide in the day, best chance at seeing them is at the most quiet of times. Look high on rooftops, trees and low under bushes. Our neighborhoods are surrounded by drainage pipes, they love to hide in these, shine a light in there. Ask to search neighbors' yards, under bushes, garages/sheds. This is important, one cat was shut in a neighbor’s garage for 24 hours, he now has a private Catio in his backyard so he doesn’t roam and he loves it! 📌 sites: http://www.catsinthebag.org/ The following does not recommend the litter method, which is fine. I believe in it and have heard from owners that is has worked for https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/ 📌🐱 Groups on Facebook Post & search on all of them! Post on *Lost Cats Of Arizona (Their photo albums are sorted by year. This page is one of the best run and organized). They will immediately make a poster you can print and hang all over your neighborhood. Post on Straydar Facebook page for lost or stray animals NOT the STRAYDAR rehoming Facebook page. ⭕The following pages are just some to search & post on. Periodically refresh by putting “bump" in comments so your post does not get buried. Use many descriptions in your post, cat color, breed, distinguishing marks, city and cross streets. *(Missing Cats) People Looking For Lost Cats *(Found Cats) Lost Cats Looking For People Other pages: *Lost and Found Pets Of Maricopa County *Lost Pets Of Phoenix There might be city specific ones too, just do a search like Lost (dogs, cats or pets of.....) and enter your city. Many use yard sale pages too. 💻Please check Craigslist & post on there! There is also a page called Pawboost, do not rely solely on them, as sometimes they are miss-tagged or flagged as SPAM in some mail boxes so check your Spam and Junk folders often. .️ 📌For your missing cat, keep an eye on Friends Of Arizona Shelter Animals, a Facebook page, for their "E-list" albums posted daily for both East & West pounds. If you see your animal in these albums they are in immediate danger of euthanasia! Comment directly on the post of the photo of the animal and request a courtesy pull so you can get your cat or dog. 📣If you think you found a match but the area found or lost doesn’t seem likely or too far way, keep in mind cats have been relocated to other areas by uncaring people or just hitched a ride by accident. 🏠Post on Nextdoor.com - a social media site for neighborhoods to share information: www.nextdoor.com 🐈💻Check Petharbor daily! You can view cats at area shelters. Don't limit your search to the closest shelter, pet’s get transferred all the time. 📣New: MCACC has implemented a lost & found registry. Make sure your pet is on it! 🍀Good luck! Don't give up, some cat's have been reunited years later. 🐱🐶County's interactive lost & found map (Does not function well on a Chrome browser): https://gis.maricopa.gov/ACC/Stray/index.html CATSINTHEBAG.ORG Cats In the Bag

Your cat may have been trapped By the volunteers trying desperately to keep the stray cat population down due to the irresponsible owners that let their unfixed cats out. it is called Trap Spay Neuter and Return .If they caught your cat they will not hurt her but they just did you a and everyone in your community a HUGE favor with their own time and money and resources and so did the vet and his or her staff that worked all day with their equipment and staff for free for you and your cat. I do hope you cat comes back safely and does not get killed by a coyoted Hawk or Owl as I have seen so many times. Join face book site Feral cats of Arizona and ask the Volunteers if anyone has trapped a cat that looks like yours lately. They will also be on the look out for your cat as well.
