Please post on. Lost dogs illinois Petfbi.com Make flyers and post in the area this dog went missing. Make a Banner and place it on your lawn . in case finder decides to walk around looking for the owner . Use ur car as a Billboard. Not everyone is on Facebook.

If lost in an unfamiliar area, As long as he isn’t pursued he will try to circle back to where he bolted from. Tour car is the biggest scent item there is. If you can sit in your car near where he bolted out scent items from you on the dash vents, things like dirty socks, dirty tshirts What works best is a slept in pillowcase. Roll windows down & blast heat or fan to get scent out. If he’s within a mile he will pick up the scent but have patience, may take time. This has worked for many families some taking a good hour.
