I contacted 2 out of 8 local shelters this far. They seem to be closed at this time. I will post the flyers tomorrow however they are printed and ready to go

Yes, call police and shelters. Check with your neighbors. Post flyers everywhere including stores and offer a small reward for safe return. Go to the shelters in person to check on the dogs they have. Too often information has been wrong about what dogs are in their shelters. Put something you wear outside for him to catch your scent. My dog got lost a day ago and a some hours. I got him today from animal control. I suggest you call your local animal control, call local animal shelters and make flyers.
