Scammers are out big time on Pawboost posts! Be careful!
đ„đ„WARNINGđ„đ„ SCAMMERS đ„đ„will claim they found your dog!!!
SCAMMERS will text you saying theyâre affiliated with Pawboost or an animal shelter and that they HAVE YOUR DOG and that YOU need to PROVE who you are by giving other phone numbers, your email, verifying google codes etc or to send money to get your dog from the shelter. These are all SCAMMERS! THEY WON'T Send you a PHOTO of your dog (they'll make up any excuse) OR THEY'LL SEND a PHOTO of a similar dog- but itâs not your dog!! Look closely.
Please know that If your actual neighbor sees or has your dog they will give you information freely (and will post a PHOTO on your listing and not make you âsend a code or personal information or money.
đ„Thereâs a NEW SCAM I see on Facebook every day, the scammer will post a comment on your Facebook lost cat post (from pawboost) the scammer will say something fake like âmy husband found your dog please message me your phone number â meaning they want you to message them from your Facebook messenger your phone number!
đ„The Facebook SCAMMER will tell you to look up a lost dog search team they used on Instagram or another platform saying their dog was found within hours - but they wonât tell you how if you ask. total scam. LOOK AT THEIR FACEBOOK PROFILE - you may see alot of (PAID) followers but they are not following anyone, The profile will have a few photos only, usually just selfies and the profile was created not long ago. You will see no posts / conversations with friends , I report the account to Facebook but first I CALL out the scammer on Facebook saying âSCAMMER!!!!!!!â Shame on youâ THE scammer will almost immediately ERASE their newly made Facebook account and delete the Facebook comment they made on your post. Scammers are heartless.
