When your pet is missing, check nearby structures and trees, especially at night using a flashlight. Approach calmly if spotted, armed with treats or food. Leave a door or window slightly open and listen for meows after dark. Place an item with your scent near the open space. Ask neighbors to inspect garages and sheds. Explore the option of reaching out to @petfinderexpert on Instagram, a tracking agency that successfully located my pet in a few hours. Best of luck!

Put out some dirty clothing or bedding for scent. Grill some bacon or hot dogs outside for scent. Post flyers within a 3 mile radius and include contact info. Ask people to take a picture of flyer. Not everyone is on FB. File Lost report with local shelter and police.
