Message from Owner

Please help me find my baby!!! I opened my living room window to cool off the hse and forgot I don’t have a screen there as we usually put the air conditioner there. All my cats are accounted for except for Ziya:( She is a tortie with extra paws on all feet. Extremely friendly and usually responds to her name. She is an indoor only cat, except for the catio. I am in Gary (Duluth) on 103rd off of McGonagle. We were out looking once we realized and I am sitting in my porch for the night keeping watch in case she comes back to the door. I will post this on other sites as well. I absolutely sick to my stomach right now and would truly appreciate if people could keep their eyes open for her. I will come get her anytime asap if you manage to catch her.

Put up posters with a clear picture on it and contact information. If you have a trail cam, put it out to see if your kitty is coming around at night. You may need to set a live trap n monitor it regularly. If your kitty is microchipped, make sure the contact information is current and the chip is registered with the chip provider. You can check the chip number at American Animal Hospital Association Microchip Registry Look-up. If it's registered, it should come up with who the provider is. Click the link, log in or create an account, enter your contact info, description, n pics. If it doesn't come up with a provider, it may not have been registered. You can register the microchip with a provider like HomeAgain, SmartTag, AKReunite for a one-time fee of $14 I believe, then it's free for life This is how I found out one of my kitty's microchip was not registered. They generally don't go far from home n will find a place to hide that they will feel safe in. Don't lose hope your kitty will be found. I pray your little one will be found soon, safe n sound. Keep us posted. 🐾😿😢💔🙏🏻🙏🏻

Put out something that has her scent on it.Put up colorful flyers around your neighborhood.Walk around your neighborhood SOFTLY calling her name, LISTEN, see if you can get a meow back! That’s how my sister found her cat! Thankfully, he meowed back to her from inside a neighbor’s garage!! You might want to check into borrowing a live trap too. If you’re looking at night, bring a flashlight and look for eye shine. Look up in trees, under decks and bushes, window wells, culverts etc. Keep checking with your local police, shelters, and vets, and see if anyone has reported a found cat. Leave them your contact information! Hopefully, she will return home soon!!
