Go out with the flashlight tonight and call for her. Carry a little can of treats with you as a way to entice her. Look under decks and porches, look up trees because sometimes cats who are afraid will climb a tree, look in locked backyards and sheds. She may be stuck in somebody’s backyard and unable to get out. Walk around and call for her and bring something with you when you go out to secure her if she comes to you or if you see her. Leave your window or door open just a crack so if she makes her way back, she can come right in the house. Put something familiar to her that has your scent on it near your door and window. Make sure you post flyers with her photo on it and go to your local humane Association with a photo of her and your contact information on the back of it. Check with them daily to see if somebody brought her in because sometimes if you call, they may have a cat that looks like her so you want to be sure. Put a flyer up on your car so when you drive around people will see that you are looking for your cat and if they are your neighbors, they may be able to, contact you if they see her. If you see her, do not walk toward her, but sit down on the ground and gently call her because she’s probably afraid and if you walk toward her, she may walk further away from you. My kitty was gone for six weeks and she was an indoor only cat. She came back skinny and scared, but she was happy to come home. It took us two days to get her to come back in the house, but we coax her with an open door and a dish with food in it. If you have a garage, leave the garage door open and litter box in it. Make sure you put water out for her too. Look for her and call for her. She knows that you care and that you want her home. Sending you and her positive energy for her safe return
