Nadir Bozkurt Nadir, this is Barbara. I left the long comment above about how to approach the unhoused woman who you think has your dog. I have spoken with your friend Collette and I'm trying to find the name of the person who asked around about your dog when I posted your flyer to the Missing in San Francisco group.

Nadir, the unhoused woman who you think has your dog either wants him as a warch dog or may sell him for drug money. Ask the SF Animal Control if they can reach out to her in a kindly way, offering to pay cash to get your dog back. Start at $50, she'll negotiate a higher price if her plans were to sell your dog. If she needs a companion and alarm dog, the SF SPCA may be able to help her adopt another dog and help her feed and care for it. Talk to the homeless outreach people, store and building security guards and police patrolling the area to call you if they see your dog. Leave them with a color printed flyer of the dog, or email them your pawboost poster. I will share your pawboost alert with the fb group "Missing in San Francisco." They have looked for missing humans to help connect them with their families and might be able to get info on your pup. Don't give up. Go down there with a couple of big male friends for protection and ask around. Explain how much you love the dig and how you're willing to help the woman who has possession of it. No matter what, stay calm and respectful of her and her friends. Stay safe.

Nadir Bozkurt Where did you lose him? Go back to that area and ask around. Maybe someone picked him up as a stray and is taking care of him. 🤞🤞
