Did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. And put out a large bowl of water! Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck!

I'm really sorry about your missing pet and I understand how you feel cause I had the same feeling when I lost my pet. Helpful Hints: Post huge fluorescent colored paper signs all around! Post on Nextdoor.com, Pawboost and all Lost and Found Sites in other boroughs and suburbs. Check all vets offices,shelters and rescues throughout. Check Craigslist Lost and Found Pets. Rehoming/Selling Pets etc. sections ! Check all bushes, alley ways, especially in the morning and evening time. Walk around waving something scented of yours and also your pets so he/she will detect it while you call out their name. Anchovies work well for cats to attract them back. Tie your shirt or something scented of yours and your pets where your pet was last seen. People will hire bloodhounds, scent dogs, to track their lost pet also. Hope this helps! Good luck to you!
