If you can I would put up fliers door-to-door if it all possible asking people to check their garages or sheds, if your cat is not used to being outside it will most likely be hiding close, underneath something what I would do when it quiets down a little bit go outside and see if you can hear it meowing possibly, when calling

Most Lost cats are within one block hiding out hunkered down and come out when dark to look for food. Take a flashlight after dark or early morning and look in sewer drains and up in trees and rooftops for your kitty. The flashlight will make kitty's eyes glow and easier to see. Post on nextdoor.com and ask neighbors to check under sheds and decks and inside garages and sheds for your kitty.
