Here is a list of tips to use to find your kitty: Have you checked sheds, garages, etc...? If you have a regular feeding time, get some sardines, people tuna or a roaster chicken from the supermarket and go outside and call his/her name. Also put some dry food in a plastic container and shake it while you are looking for him/her. DO NOT LEAVE food outside because it will attract other critters. Get a good flashlight and look up trees at night. Put their litter box outside, (but do not leave it unattended because it will attract predators) as well as some dirty clothes so they can catch scents. If you have neighbors that put food out for their cats or strays, go check it out. A friend of mines cat went missing for weeks, he was found across the street eating with some other cats. Another thing, if your cat likes catnip and/or laser lights, you can use them to attract them. My cats hear the keychain from the laser light and they come running! The best time to find escapees is either early in the AM while it is still dark out or early PM when it is getting dark. Cats usually hide during the day. Chances are he/she isn't far from home. Put him/her on pawboost, nextdoor and craigslist and print out flyers to hang around your neighborhood, don't just call the humane society or check their website, go there in person every day! There are numerous lost/found pet pages on facebook, be sure and put him/her on there too! Also, call all of the local vets, he/she could have gotten picked up and taken to a vet.

shared and hoping and per advice from a trapper to be done at your own discretion (as not everyone agrees with this) put out the uncleaned litter box outside (THIS SHOULD BE A LAST RESORT as this can draw in strays) along with a piece of your clothing they say it helps them find their home, also notify your local precinct and put up many flyers and check under stoops and bushes and garages and if possible and at night when it is quiet constantly call her/his name - this is how I found my cat under a car - hopefully some of this helps
