File a missing report with the humane shelter and post flyers at vets, groomers, shelters, animal emergency clinics,store, banks, intersections, neighborhoods, highways, salons. Churches, schools, playgrounds, parks, dog parks, etc... When out calling stay in one spot at least 15minutes so not to confuse the pet where to come to you. Check wooded areas nearby, neighbors houses, drainage ditches, under anything can crawl into for safety, security cameras/ring cameras in area , traffic light cameras in the area if possible, abandoned buildings ,dirt roads nearby, garages, highways, behind closed doors, storage sheds, in/around vehicles, farms/barns, fields, near dumpsters, behind restaurants, near water, in holes pet could've fell into and can't get out of, cemetery, schools, playgrounds, dog parks, parks, etc.... Use the MEDIA to help get your pet back. The more publicity the better chance. Prayers

Chip: notify chip company make sure up-to-date Forms/posts: fill out petfbi/ lost dogs illinois Nextdoor Ring Neighbors Fliers: take to vets, groomers, pd, shelters Shelters: visit daily (timing of essence) Cacc Shelter & surrounding like animal welfare league, etc. Place clothes or something with your scent by your home and areas seen Praying for protection and safe return of your beautiful dog

Contact the blue Island police department with this flier report. Also take to vets, groomers, the CACC shelter 2741 S Western in person. No phone calls or emails are answered! Go to 24petconnect and petharbor to both report your dogs lost & search for! Best in person! Again, you can bring the flier of your report with! Check animal welfare league as well and I know blue island has a shelter with the police too

All important: put something (clothes, blanket, etc) with your scent on your porch in your yard, open gate, slightly opened garage alert chip company if chipped and make sure your contact information is up-to-date, Create form on petfbi for free creates flier, advise and check with police, vet, shelters, groomers (leave them the flier), post to nextdoor, ring, neighbor, citizens ap, share on any lost dog sites that apply. Note: important to check with shelters daily in person as not always updated and shelters are full which makes it where dogs are sometimes taken to shelters outside the area! See Cacc in Chicago on western! Timing is of the essence as dogs aren’t held long due to overcrowding! Please keep updated Praying for protection and safe return of your Fur baby 🙏 Suggest getting flyers at signs and stop signs throughout a 2 mile radius from where last seen. Not everyone is on social media. Keep flyers simple and put in plastic page protectors with open side at bottom.
