My kitten/teenager cat snuck out last night and we are trying to find him as soon as possible. He is fixed and had all his vaccines, but he has never gotten out before, so I don’t know how he’ll behave. He is also microchipped. We are in West Columbia/Cayce near Comanchee Trail.

Happy update! He has been found!!!! He managed to find his way back to the neighbors yard. I was by the back door and heard a tiny distant meow, so glad I was sitting in that room when he came back! He seems in good health but very tired. He has a small cut on his lip but otherwise good as new. We are cuddling. I can’t thank everyone enough for your help. I think leaving my used bed sheets and his litter out for him helped him find his way back!

Beverly Fahema DuPuy Ernest thanks so much for all this advice! I've put up flyers on every stop sign in the surrounding area, and last night 2 of my friends and I searched with high beam flashlights looking for eyes. We found 3 outside cats that way, but none of them Pierre! You are right that he is not a very vocal cat, so it's likely he is hiding. I am about to call his microchip company now. Thanks so much and I'll update this post when we find him.
