2nd UPDATE TUE 6/1: Spotted last night 7pm moving north on Higley approaching Broadway, pics taken, confirmed is him. Would not get into truck with spotter. Please watch for him and call the number 480-286-6712 or respond to this post. Today is day 4 he has been lost wandering in heat and we are trying to trap him and get him to owner. He has blue collar and a blue maricopa tag. UPDATE!! MON 5/31 - HE IS ON THE MOVE AGAIN, SEEN on May 30, 2021 in Mesa, AZ 85206 rested near 300 block S. 58th Place, 85206 all day Sunday. This morning was gone early, searched neighborhood. Trapper waiting to hear, very skittish but not threatening, he is scared, hot, tired, and leary. Big boy, red (reddish brown) all over, short hair like a pit, huge heavy paws, big head like pit or chow/sharpei mix, tiny whip tail for size of dog, est. 30" at shoulder, lighter brown eyes, has collar and 1 blue tag but so far not able to get close enough to check for names/info. Avoiding people but clearly someones pet, took cold water and food offered Sunday. Making no threats. We respected him, please do same, please call or text 480-286-6712 if you see him. Thanks.
