Erica Johnson Please never use litter that is the worst thing ever it attracks other animals Don't ever put out litter for an outdoor-access cat, or indoor cat missing from their home. It just doesn't make sense. Use some sort of surveillance or wildlife camera to ensure that you are not attracting other cats or predators. Most importantly – don't just put out cat litter at all . Remember predators which we have coyotes are drawn to the cat smells this could harm your cat, when indoor only cats go missing they are 99 percent of the time super close to home go out late at night with a flashlight with a treat bag shake it , the main this is usually the cats will come back home on their own . Please do not put litter outside at all
