DESCRIPTION

Two cats: one all white with blue eyes, one smaller black and white mix. I believe someone dumped them as a litter box and a bunch of cat food were left inside the gate to my yard. They are hiding under my deck where I can't reach them but I left food there for them.

Dear guardian..🐱🐱💖🙏Thank you for continuing to feed these sweet abandoned cats...Hoping they will warm up to you soon ....once a trust is built and you can get them inside and try to get them rehomed/fostered as a bonded pair. It's just heartbreaking to learn that they were 'dumped' and abandoned from what once was an indoor life ...please be patient as you have been...This is a list I copied from someone else's post regarding rehoming options (though SPCA would be the one in your area : You are a lovely soul to take care of them in your backyard 💖🙌 1.) Rehoming list from SF SPCA https://www.sfspca.org/rehoming/rehoming-animals/? 2.) Toni’s Kitty Rescue 415-828-4153 toniskittyrescue@hotmail.com https://toniskittyrescue.org/ 3.) Oh my gosh someone dumped them as you said - since they left food and litter box...heartbreaking...thank you for feeding them...they've probably never been outside before ...breaks my heart...thank goodness for your kind soul feeding the kitties...it may take some time for you to gain their trust...goodness they need to be inside...praying you are able to gain their trust by feeding them and gently talking to them...eventually getting them inside and letting them decompress and 're-socialized and reaching out to cat rescue groups , nextdoor neighbors, Facebook - to find someone to foster/adopt them together...I know it's alot...just so thankful for you

So pretty. White cats should never be outdoor cats so could be they escaped from a nearby home…hopefully. Put fliers on nearby neighbors porches asking them if they know who’s kitties they are and post on Nextdoor. File a found report with the shelter asap. Hoping a nearby rescue can help them

Dear kind compassionate neighbor. I ADORE people like you who look out for the often ignored lost/stray roaming kitty. Thank you for posting here and for feeding these sweet angels... Might I kindly suggest the following: 1. please post on nextdoor.com under 'lost and found' and the 'cat owner' groups. 2. Post on 24petconnect and report to 3. Animal Shelters in your area...Contra Costa Animal Care & Control Alameda Animal Care & Control East Bay SPCA Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter Lost cats tend to stay near their last residence. Lost/abandoned cats need our help… Unfortunately many kitty owners give up WAY TOO SOON on the search (or are disabled and cannot search) assuming kitty is never coming back or deceased (not realizing how close they remain and/or sometimes they're trapped in a garage etc) so I highly advise informing your neighbors by putting up some FOUND- IS THIS YOUR CAT FLYERS around your block/s and also distributing to your neighbors residence around the entire block and across the street door to door - it won't take long and the impact could be significant for these darling cats You can visit www happycatlady com to download FLYER TEMPLATE (then edit on your desktop) Post up Flyers on streetposts around the block, placing the flyers inside clear “plastic sheet protectors” so the flyers don’t get ruined by weather. google to find on amazon. FEDEX PRINT stores carry them too - where I place all my flyer orders online for pick up. you can call the store to ask them if they can print right away (after you submit online copy job) due to the urgent nature and they always do! Use painter's tape to adhere the door notes directly ont door nobs/mailboxes and/or garages all around the block and across the street to start. If there are apts with multiple residents tape neatly next to mailboxes so all can see or tape up 1 note per mailbox. If the cat is friendly enough to lure inside your home, and eventually into a cat carrier, it would be best to to get kitty checked for a microchip to find out if there is up to date guardian info. Thank you again for being an angel and for feeding the kitties and posting..truly truly LOVE caring people like you!!
