You could post fliers on every street corner that the pup/cat was found.
Not everyone uses technology or the internet. Especially the elderly. 🥺

*Check for a chip using a universal scanner @ a vet or shelter
VCA Animal Hospital on Montgomery can check for a chip anytime day or night. If in ABQ, call 311 and report that you have the pup/cat to let them know the furkid is in your possession, or call Bernalillo County (505) 468-7387. You can always ask the above shelters to come pick up the animal.
