"Timothy is our 10 year old son's first and only pet. Timothy must be cold, hungry, and tired if he managed to protect himself from predators. He doesn't know what to eat out there, he only eats cocktails bird food. Our son (and the whole family) is devastated, we are very concerned for Timothy. We all miss Timothy and the joy he brought to our family. We have searched everywhere for him, we posted and distributed flyers in the neighborhood. His giant cage with his favorite food and toys are still waiting for him on the deck hoping it will help him recognize home. Timothy is very sensitive and he may easily get scared and fly away. The easiest way to catch him is to gently spread a towel over him and then reach to keep him in doors or in a shoebox with the lid closed (please sure there are holes to let air in to allow him breathing). Please look for Timothy in your area, we are hoping that he may have found shelter in someone's deck, balcony, or backyard. We also hope that he is smart enough to stay near the warmth of a home vent to avoid the frosty nights but he has never been outside of our house so he won't know what is what. If you spot him but can't catch him, please let us know right away. If you find him and could catch him, please let us know or take him to the nearest animal shelter or hospital if you can. "
