I’ve been told not to do that because it will also attract other animals including the coyotes. I am leaving the doggy door open continuously so he can get back in anytime though. We also go out late at night and early morning (best times to look, when things are quiet) to look and call for him. Have flyers up and have him listed with multiple groups as missing
