Cat advice from a feral and fire rescuer, I run Nevada County Cat Rescue. You need to call for him every hour, middle of the night is best. Put out your dirty clothes for your scent. Do not put out his cat box, it attracts other cats and coyotes. Knock on your neighbors doors and check everyone's garages and sheds. When you call at night, walk around and listen. If he is injured he will call to you for help otherwise remain quiet. Carry a carrier with you, don't plan on carrying him home! Don't give up. I had a city feral get out and I did everything I suggested 2 months later I got him home! Ps, please don't listen to advice about indoor-only cats. They are not used to the outside and can be scared off easily. Once they leave their smell radius, they can't get home. Many ppl that google and screenshot advice don't actually work in the field. Also watch for scammers, they share a link please report them!
