Where is she missing from? Is she a house at that escaped outside? If so, she is not lost, she is hiding closer by! When cats are outside their territory they will hunker down and hide. Put out her food and water and her litter box too! Look with a flashlight even during the day. Look under bushes, decks, porches and cars. Look in garages, sheds and under houses too. Post on Nextdoor and file a lost report with the shelter asap. Put fliers on nearby neighbors porches asking them to please check their property throughly. If your cat continues to hide, set a humane trap near the litter box where you think she escaped. Pick up all outside food. Line the bottom with newspaper and cover it with a towel. Set it in the early morning or early evening where you can monitor it from a distance. You could also try opening up a door and put food inside while securing all other pets behind closed doors and see if she will run back inside on her own. But if not keep looking snd set the trap. You will find her, just don’t stop looking
