MESSAGE FROM FINDER

This pretty kitty looks like a Persian or Himalayan breed, definitely not like the stays I’ve seen. I think it’s someone’s lost pet.

DESCRIPTION

Timid black/brown fluffy kitty appears to be staying underneath my porch. First seen on 1/1 at 6AM and since then has been eating the wet and dry cat food I put out for it. Kitty retreats from me so I don’t want to scare it off. Kitty looks like a lost pet with a really thick scruffy coat, so has been outside for a while. I’m putting a heated cat hse outside today hoping kitty will take shelter from the cold. Otherwise, I could use some help trapping kitty if anyone is available in Annandale. Kitty is roaming around a few neighboring yards when not under my porch.

Teresa Fajardo when I go put food out I call out for Turtle, but there doesn’t seem to be any particular response to the name. However, kitty keeps coming back every day, so it’s promising that he’s at least trusting of my porch and voice.

Carolyn Mice Moore Kitty was at my house at 2AM this morning eating warm wet food I have on a warming pad. (I have a trail camera set up). Lanier is across Backlick from me, this cat gets around! I have a lot of extra straw for cat shelter bedding if you need it. Send me a DM and I can drop it off at your house

Carolyn Mice Moore thank you so much! I know cats (especially scared ones) can be hard to catch. He looks so much like my cat Turtle but Turtle is so friendly. I know that can change when cats go into survival mode. Thank you again for trying to catch him!

I live on Lanier and this cat came to my front door on 1/8 and 1/9 late at night. I put some food out and a shelter today. I’m hoping I can try to lure the cat in and see if they are chipped!
