Please post simple signs like this in your yard and neighborhood. Each day go a bit farther out of your neighborhood. Check the Shelter at least every other day - in person! You know your pet best. Set out a scent station - unwashed items with your and/or your pet’s scent (clothing, bedding, towels, toys, etc). If you have another dog who is its buddy, walk the area with it on a leash. Post on the NextDoor app which covers your surrounding neighborhoods. When your pet is spotted, do not call or chase him/her. Just sit down on the ground and be very quiet. He/she is scared and any voices can push it away (even familiar voices). https://www.pawboost.com/blog/8-helpful-tips-for-finding-your-lost-dog/
