MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Bonnie has only been with us since my dad died. She was he companion and she was lost after he passed. I brought her and she was settling in just fine until our dog door was left open in the middle of the night. I believe the dog chased her outside. Please be on the lookout for our precious girl. I am totally heartbroken.

DESCRIPTION

She is mostly white with gray/brown markings. She is a snowshoe cat and is very skiddish. She has only been with us for 2 weeks since my dad died. She has not been out of our hse because she doesn't know this area of town

Kitty prayers for Bonnie!! Keep looking everywhere.... up in trees, under everything. Little holes under houses. Flyers up. Tell your neighbors.

If you have a piece of your dads clothing put that outside for her to smell his scent.

Yes, she's probably scared and therefore hiding the deepest she can. Yes, a kitty needs a "safe room" for respite from dogs and so she doesn't feel the need to bolt.

She is probably just hiding somewhere. That is what scared cats do. Get out and check your property thoroughly. Go out at dawn and dusk and shake a bag of cat treats and call her name. You might want to consider getting a trap since she really doesn't know where she is and she is confused. Also, when you get her back, keep her in a separate room at night so she can't get out the dog door and allow the dog and the cat more time to get to know each other so the dog isn't chasing the cat. This cat needs a lot of TLC.
