Put out some of his/hers things like a crate, blanket, food, your shirt, toys, etc. he/she may pick up the scent and come home. Do not put out their litter box, I hear it will attract coyotes if there are any near your area. Put out some flyers in your neighborhood and PetsMart etc. as well as checking with PetsMart & Vets in your area to see if some posted them found.
