MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Zelda was formerly found as an outdoor stray. She is super friendly and I have been caring for her for a few months now. No one came forward to claim her in that time. I have three fur babies of my own but didn’t realize my heart would hurt so much not having her around. She got the opportunity to go to a forever but got spoked and ran. I am located in Mesa and although her new is on the lookout in Glendale I can’t seem to settle my heart and mind. I can no longer drive down almost daily to look for her. Please help me find her! There is a reward for her safe return and flyers are posted in the area. Thank you!

DESCRIPTION

Zelda has a medium coat and a fluffy tail. She loves wet food. She is friendly and was found as a former outdoor stray.

Marley Marinaccio why don’t you cut up strips of your dirtiest clothing and hang them on tree branches up and down the street. She’s not familiar with her new home and that may bring her back in the vicinity.

Jennie Ettinger she was lost the same day trying out the new home. I will be trying out some new ideas. Most of those I already have in place luckily. She escaped the sliding glass door and I think she is scared to approach people like she did me in the past because of the new area and all the farm yards. The cat trap has failed I’m hoping eventually she will go up to a neighbor!

Marley Marinaccio Lost cat female I’m sorry she is missing! A spayed or neutered cat will not go far from home. Usually not even a block. ——Watch this valuable video and read the written suggestions below: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I Put her litter box and some dirty clothes outside ASAP and put cans of tuna fish intermittently up and down your street hidden under bushes. This is called a scent trail and will hopefully bring her home. Leave your garage door open a few inches so she can come in. Go out in the evening and before sunrise and shake her favorite treats and search with a flashlight in cozy dark areas. Many cats get stuck somewhere so make sure you check your home and yard very thoroughly. There was a kitty recently that was missing for 36 hours. The owner finally heard a small meow and she had been stuck behind the stove that entire time😳 Also check your roof and the roof of your immediate neighbors. A cat was found on the neighbors roof when they took their Christmas decorations down. ****VERY IMPORTANT: Post in the “general” and “lost and found” sections of nextdoor.com and share to as many adjoining neighborhoods as allowed. ***hang brightly colored lost flyers*** Contact your HOA if you have one and ask them to do an email blast out notification*** Contact the microchip company and make sure your contact info is up-to-date and ask them to do an email blast out notification to other chip holders in your ZIP Code. Report as missing to County and they will put her on the stray interactive map. You will have to refresh that map yourself though every five days.
