MESSAGE FROM OWNER

i miss Phun Povi so much; he has been an emotional support animal furry friend for so long and I just can't seem to calm my anxiety and worry. Please help him to come back ! he gets very scared and needs his medication daily. He was last seen on Hermosa Dr. SE and Anderson Drive SE following a black short haired female cat (she looked to have had kittens recently). Please to the neighbors in this area, check under your porch or in a place where he might be able to crawl. He was returning full of dirt and thick spider webs around his face.

DESCRIPTION

Chronologically, he is about 6 yrs old but looks to be quite younger. He is easily scared by people and with loud noises. He will not readily come to anyone for petting. Because of these last two, I feel as though someone may have picked him ie,e enticed by something or trapped/forced to be caught. I have not known him to have bitten anyone or scratched anyone in his life (he has been with me since he was about 4 weeks old., He has an older brother who misses him dearly and meows throughout the place as if in search for his lost little brother. HIs older brother has severe anxiety and tends to act out when big changes occur, He is about 16yrs old, so you can imagine how traumatic this is for the him. He has been going outside periodically throughout the day and night looking for Phun Povi. PLEASE PLEASE, help us find him and bring him home. WE love him so very much and cannot bear the emptiness in our home since he went missing. He was returning home in the morning most recently full dirt throughout his fur and old thick spider webs on his face, so he may be in a shed or under a porch.

NextDoor app is your best chance as covers your area. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person (can’t stress enough - in person!!! You know your pet best plus shelter workers are busy and can’t keep up) every couple days. Follow your pets routine, as weird as it might sound, as this sometimes help. Create a scent station with items that have your smell, your cat’s smell. Bedding, clothing, cat tower, etc. and have someone check in and under everything with a flashlight. Cats don’t go far and freeze in a tight ball in very small areas when scared. But they stare which is where the flashlight comes in handy. Catches the glare of their eyes, especially at night. Pray your baby is home safe and soon. https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/
