Report it to Your vet & all vet offices in the area, ALL Rescues & Send them a Flyer with all of your updated info so, they can keep an eye out.
You NEED to Place an Ad & KEEP WATCH under the lost and found in the Community section. (Locally & All Surrounding Areas since, someone might post that they have this lost pet or have info on a person who found this pet or they say lost pet (but, really mean that this pet is lost) & Closely Monitor it, in case your pet is being sold or offered for free or for adoption. It could take days or weeks for your pet to show up, even years. They can escape from the new family or be given to a shelter after the person moves or passes away or their living situation changes).
Never give up!
Report it & Give Flyers to the Humaine Society's, Shelters (ask for assistance since, your pet could be getting processed or in a secluded area in the back or in the medical ward so, check ALL the kennels), Vets, Neighbors (knock on every door, speak to each person & hand them a flyer. They are more likely to remember your pet & most will get involved if they've spoken to you).
Tell Mail Carriers, UPS, Fed-Ex handlers (suggest to everyone to use their smart phones to take a photo of the flyer so, they have it handy at all times. They may see your pet running loose or your pet in someone's yard or someone walking your pet), Dog Parks, Clinics, Groomers, Local Animal Businesses, Local News Paper Carriers & Post in News Papers (Found ads are Free), School Guards, School Children, School Board, Bus Drivers, Bus Stops, Garbage Collectors, Food Delivery People (like the Pizza guy), Utility Workers, Road Crews, Construction Workers, Fire Fighters, Bus Drivers and etc.
