Get your scent out in front of your house - use dirty worn laundry to do this - hang it out high so the smell can travel. Also put the dogs bed out on the porch. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs picture and your contact information on the signs. Post signs all over - put the fliers in neighbors mailboxes - as if someone spots your dog and there is no ID on him/her the person can contact you. Ask your neighbors to check their Ring cameras. Call the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing in case someone calls in with a matching description and ask if animal services has picked up your dog already. Go to the shelter in person. Prayers that your dog is found safely.

Try posting on Pawboost, Nextdoor, lostmydoggie, Craigslist, Ring and Neighbors. Check those sites for found dogs that may be your dog. Also Contact all shelters in your neighborhood in case she was turned in there. Don't just do it online not all dogs get posted Get LOTS and LOTS of good quality flyers up in the neighborhood. Ask your neighbors if they have seen her. Check security cameras to see if you can tell which direction she headed. Leave a gate or garage door open in case she comes back and wants inside. Check your local shelters... daily. If your pet is chipped, contact the chip company and report as missing. It's also a good time to make sure your contact info is current. When you get your dog back please make sure they are wearing ID tags at All times. Plus don't ever leave your pets outside unattended. Between coyotes, Bad people, and someone leaving the gate open where they can end up in traffic. It's not Safe . Good luck

IMMEDIATELY CHECK ALL SMALL SPACES!! Under houses, in sheds, in culverts, wells, every small space! Go to the shelter IN PERSON, at least every other day. They are required to hold strays for only 3 days if there is no chip. IMMEDIATELY cut several smelly socks into strips and hang everywhere outside. Lost dog experts also highly recommend putting the dog's bedding outside. Create flyers, give to the mailperson, sanitation workers, vets, shelters, pin to bulletin boards at groc stores, tape to bus stops, etc. Also, highly recommend posting to as many lost pet sites as possible. Here are some, starting with the best: HELPINGLOSTPETS.COM, SHADOWAPP.COM, FIDOFINDER.COM, PETAMBERALERT.COM, CRITTERALERT.COM, LOSTMYDOGGIE.COM,, PAWMAW.COM, FOUNDLOSTDOGS.COM, ILOVEPETS.CO, MYLOSTPETALERT.COM, PETCOLOVE.COM, Helping Lost Pets (HeLP) HELPINGLOSTPETS.COM VERY IMPORTANT!!! Post to NEXTDOOR.COM & CRAIGSLIST.COM - many reunited in these free sites. Obtain a 'Live Trap', place near where missing, but away from roads, and in shade. Put smelly dog bedding or owner's smelly socks inside, & put water to drink. USE HASHTAGS - ex: #dachshund #chihuahua #chiweenie, etc. It will increase the odds of a reunion.
