Shared. Post Loki on Nextdoor, and file a lost report with the shelter right away. Keep checking at the shelter, in case he's taken there when found. Post flyers in your area, including veterinary offices and pet stores. Talk to neighbors when you post the flyers. Someone might know something. If they have security cameras, ask them to check the video for any clues. Ask them to check their garages and back yards. Loki could've wandered in and be trapped somewhere. Best if you're there when they search. Take Loki's carrier with Loki's favorite blanket inside, it will keep Loki calm and safe untill you get home. Take a flashlight to help you search poorly lit areas, even in daylight. Also take a bag of Loki's favorite treats, or an open can of cat food or tuna and a s. Shake the bag or tap the can while you call out to Loki. Keep your voice calm, Loki might stay quiet and hidden if there's stress in your voice. Search inside and under storage sheds, under porches and decks, under bushes too. Search crawl space under the home, the bat, the attic. Search the roof (and behind any loose vents). Search tree tops. Walk around the neighborhood and check under parked vehicles, check recessed areas and nearby structures. Check all bushes and trees along the sidewalk. Even the smallest spaces must be checked. Cats can squeeze into very tight spaces, especially when they're under stress. Search right before dark or before dawn. Some cats feel more secure coming out of hiding then. If no luck, try at different times to see what works. Good luck 💕
