(Also: I called KAPA Radio for a shout out on the air, a couple of months ago after finding a puppy running on the highway, MountainView area. He was reunited with owner)

(One more thing - if Joey is chipped out of state, if he's turned in to HIHS, they may hold him, thinking his owner is not reachable, or if they have someone who finds Joey and drops him off there, they'll hold him for the 4 days I believe, and in that time, won't show him as up for adoption, but after that, adoption too can happen, after the holding period.Hope this makes sense. Nutshell, stay on it and don't just take no for an answer. Best case scenario, your tenacity will find Joey safely there, but only if you show up there and go from there, and other efforts are also in place. Prayers)

Aloha Randy, okay Mahalo. I would post fliers in this area - at Hirano and on utility poles - and keep me posted. It's a huge vast area, but miracles happen, they do! You've done a lot and we will be praying for Joey to be reunited with you, my pet hui and I will pray for him, no doubt. Please diligently call HIHS, ask for Adam the manager, and don't stop at a quick 'no' word or no info, on the phone. I am speaking from experience, press and go and check their facility constantly, phone and in person. Call Rainbow Friends and try to get some help to spread the word from them. New fliers all around this area will bring attention and possibly a reward. I will personally look for Joey, and I cannot imagine. You have my support and do keep me posted. I will, too. We'll do ALL we can
