Owners need to put their DIRTY clothes outside in the WIND every day until pet is found (cats and dogs follow that smell 4 miles around). 😮 And, put cat's dirty litter box outside in the wind, too. Put POSTERS in area where lost, in case finder is NOT on facebook. Notify area veterinarians and animal shelters. Pets lose collars, so post on Nextdoor .com -- PetFBi .org -- and Pawboost .com (all are FREE, just leave pawboost pay stuff BLANK). If microchipped, notify chip company to send out lost pet ALERTS and make chip company confirm owners current phone number again. Ask neighbors to check garages / sheds / under cars / under decks and patios, etc.
