I’m in Blaine, and I created a various-need-based resource list for Companion Animals and their loving guardians on my site (not seeking biz, & books closed since 2022 due to health), as I work with companion animals myself. It may be helpful to take a peek?
⭐️ A couple things ⭐️:
🟣 Sections are by category, some have subheadings, find what best applies!
🟣 I also •HIGHLY• suggest contacting any / all that may apply to your situation if seeking any assistance (found or lost fur-baby, companion animal food, domestic situation temp fostering, etc.)! This increases the odds of a positive outcome!

If a “found” companion animal has been turned over to Animal Control, check “Lost / Found” groups on social networking sites (Facebook, IG, Nextdoor, etc.) for a potential match with “Lost” fur-kids (it happens!).
🔦 If searching for a lost cat, flashlights at dusk / night help spot glowing eyes in hiding places! 😿
🐱🏡 Want to help cats left in the bitter cold, but you can’t bring them inside, want to avoid shelters, and the rescues you contacted are full?:

🟣 🐱🪤 If looking to live trap, you can either call rescues to see if they have one you may borrow, or, Amazon and other sites have them at a decent price.
~ 🦌📹 You will NEED a deer cam to diligently watch for activity, & respond ASAP.
~ 💻 📋 Live trap instructions can be found online.
🙀 Animals have been known bolt, often into traffic, if being pursued by too many people, even by their own humans as they’re in “flight” mode. The fewer people approaching / calling out, the better (many may search though, then contact the guardian directly if sighted). 👟
🤔💡 When rehoming, please remember! 🏡:
🟣 Please don’t forget to add a rehoming fee to avoid nefarious people who seek free animals to use as bait, or to sell to labs. Protect your fur-baby as they make their way to their next potential family!!! 💪🏻
